Twenty-four hours before the start of the 10th U19 Men’s World Championship, which Croatia will host from August 2-13, the president of the International Handball Federation (IHF), Hasan Moustafa, arrived in Zagreb. At the Zagreb airport, he was hosted by the president of the Croatian Handball Federation, Tomislav Grahovac.
The IHF President remains in Croatia during the entire Championship. This rarely happens and Croatia proudly accepts it as a sign of recognition and special tribute to the country that has so far organized several world championships. This year host cities Opatija, Rijeka, Koprivnica, and Varazdin are ready.
