With only five days left before the start of the U19 Men’s World Handball Championship, a press conference was held in Koprivnica, one of four Croatian host cities.
Koprivnica Mayor Misel Jaksic, Koprivnicko – Krizevacka County Prefect deputy Ratimir Ljubic, event director Silvijo Njiric, and LOC Koprivnica director Sonja Safar, were presented.
Organizers stated that Koprivnica has always been a city of handball with great sports successes. Josip Samaržija – Bepo Hall is ready and will be home from the 2nd to the 13th of August, for young handball players and their matches.
Over 900 handball players will compete in four Croatian cities: Varazdin, Koprivnica, Opatija, and Rijeka. The group phase consists of 32 teams divided into eight groups with four teams.
